York Civil is celebrating after winning another Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) Earth Award.
After winning the $20 million to $75 million category in the 2014 South Australian CCF Earth Awards, York Civil’s Goodwood Junction Rail Upgrade Separation project took home the National Earth Award in the same category.
The Goodwood Junction Rail Upgrade Separation was part of a joint venture and comprised constructing grade separations at two freight-passenger rail junctions, the removal of a four level road-rail, and associated works in and near the Adelaide inner suburbs of Bowden and Goodwood.
The project was delivered with a high level of public safety, which was paramount as it was delivered in close proximity to the community.
A gala dinner announcing the winners was held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, where the CCF also held its national conference.
