York Civil has been awarded the Dignams Creek Upgrade for Roads and Maritime Services (RMS).
The Dignam Creek Upgrade project comprises construction of roadworks, bridgeworks and associated works of a 2.9km section of rural carriageway on the Princes Highway, approximately 26km south of Narooma. The upgrade involves construction of 2.1km of new carriageway on a new alignment and approximately 0.7km of pavement widening and carriageway improvement works on the existing carriageway.
When completed, the upgrade will increase road safety at the current Dignams Creek intersection, improve road safety by improving the road alignment, reduce vehicle carbon emissions, improve travel times on the Highway and provide safer crossings for local animals.
The project marks the start of a promising year for York Civil and cements their growing position in New South Wales.
