Earthworks and Remediation
Since 1991 York Civil has been delivering bulk and detailed earthworks and remediation projects in remote, urban, marine and industrial areas that required significant environmental and safety considerations. With our extensive range of plant and equipment, we can and have self-performed all aspects of earthworks on projects, ranging from 20,000 to over 400,000 cubic metres of materials moved.
We also have expertise in remediation and rehabilitation of sites, achieved through various methods such as the construction of gabions, reno mattresses and the use of geotextiles, soil-nailing, rock-anchoring and chemical anchoring. We also have the expertise and systems to manage the safe removal of contaminated materials from sites while meeting EPA and other environmental requirements.

As a multi-disciplinary company our capability to deliver earthwork projects encompasses wastewater treatment plants, substations, wetland developments, bridges, roads, residential developments and mines.
