Graduates are vital to the future success of York Civil and our Graduate Program aims to ensure you gain a solid grounding in all facets of the business and build a solid foundation for career advancement and development.
Our graduate program offers graduate engineers the opportunity to experience all facets of our operations. Key elements of the program include the following:
- Aligned with Engineers Australia to promote Chartered Professional Engineer Status
- Formal exchange program with design and consulting engineers SKM Sinclair Knight Merz
- Focused on continual professional development in all aspects engineering and project management, including project engineering, design, estimating, tender submissions, contract administration, safety, quality and environment
- Includes both formal and informal training opportunities
- Mentoring from on site project managers and project engineers.
Our graduates have the opportunity to work on various projects across Australia as well as in our offices learning all aspects of our business. Many of our graduates have become Project Managers within 7-8 years of joining York Civil.
