New Project Wins for York Civil

York Civil has had a busy start to the New Year, with two contracts being awarded since the beginning of December.

Consolidating our foothold in New South Wales, we have been awarded Stage 1 of the Pacific Highway Upgrade project in a joint venture with OHL. The Pacific Highway Upgrade project is being undertaken by Roads and Maritime Services and funded by the Australian and NSW governments, and will upgrade the highway to deliver a four lane divided road, spanning Hexham to Queensland. We have been contracted to complete Section 1, which begins in Woolgoolga and terminates at Halfway Creek. Click here for more information on the project.

The CCF Earth Awards recognise major civil construction projects through a series of state and territory finals, culminating in a national awards night.

This year, York Civil won in two categories – Goodwood Junction Rail Upgrade Separation ($20 million to $75 million), and Rail Revitalisation Project ($75 million or more).

York Civil is proud to bring its rich history of water infrastructure experience to Western Australia in its first project for the Water Corporation.

To meet future demand in Perth’s South West Corridor, Water Corporation is building a wastewater treatment plant at East Rockingham. York Civil was awarded the contract by the Water Corporation to deliver concrete structures and fabrication and installation of in-ground pipework (including the influent and effluent lines) for Stage 1A of the project.
