Olympic Dam Projects
York Civil began mining work at Olympic Dam in 1995, a contract that is still in operation today and has encompassed diverse projects such as township development, civil and structural capital works, and mine site maintenance. Projects undertaken have included township subdivisions, road repairs, airport maintenance, contaminated bund inspection maintenance, power transmission lines, tailings retention system cells and seepage repair works, evaporation pond and tailing dam wall raising, and raise bore works.
