PIpelines
At York Civil we have enjoyed a long history of providing pipeline engineering and construction services, both in built up and highly trafficked urban environments, and across remote country and desert regions of Australia. We have experience in all aspects of pipeline delivery, including:
- Trenching
- Rock excavation
- Pipe laying
- Pipe joining
- Pipe welding
- Directional boring
- Micro-tunnelling
- Tie-ins
- Service relocations
- Cathodic protection
- Pressure testing
- Commissioning.
We also have experience across all types of piping materials including mild steel cement lined (MSCL), reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), polyvinyl choride (PVC), high density polyethylene (HDPE), and others.
We have delivered pipelines in urban and residential environments requiring extensive traffic, community and stakeholder management strategies. Our pipeline projects have been delivered using our own in house people, plant and equipment, often mobilised in short turnarounds and in difficult to reach locations in order to deliver tight programs.
We can mobilise workforces in remote locations where challenges such as living away from home accommodation, fly-in fly-out requirements, mobilising plant and equipment, and long-lead time and logistics for materials and specialised items must all be carefully planned and properly managed.
