Plant and Equipment

At York Civil we understand the importance of having plant and equipment ready and available to ensure project timeframes are met. Meeting the plant and equipment needs of our projects will never be a problem for us. We have an extensive range of locally owned and available plant and equipment with a large equipment depot at Wingfield, South Australia and a secondary plant and equipment depot in Olympic Dam, South Australia. A sample of our range follows:

We also maintain extensive small plant and equipment including everything from boats, four wheel drives, mobile elevated platforms, small tools to formwork and sheet piles.

Our fleet is overseen by our dedicated Plant Manager, diesel mechanics and boiler makers that maintain our extensive fleet to the highest standards. 

York Civil is always willing to invest in the latest and most up-to-date plant and equipment. Several years ago the company changed over much of its fleet so much of the plant is new. For every new project the company also looks to invest in new plant to further expand its fleet and facilitate growth in a measured way. The team is supported by out procurement officer purchasing everything from spares, fuel and new plant and equipment.

York Civil mobilises its plant and operators around Australia wherever we are undertaking works, including to remote mining sites. Dedicated crane truck drivers deliver plant and equipment to wherever they are required in Australia, even to remote mining projects.
