Bolivar Plant High Salinity Pipelines and Civil Works

The project was initiated to increase the performance of the wastewater treatment plant and reduce the quantity of treated wastewater entering the Gulf St Vincent by recycling high quality treated wastewater for irrigation purposes.

York Civil undertook all works with its own plant and labour which included pipelines, concrete tanks and walls, marine works and pump stations.

This included the construction of a sequence batch reactor, a dissolved air flotation plant, six mixed liquor and one equalisation pump station, 4.5km of pipeline, earthworks and the St Kilda concrete outfall drains and structure.
