Viterra Terminal Concrete and Pile Cap Construction

The Viterra project involved the construction of a rail in-loading facility, 10 storage silos and a conveyor loading system to the Outer Harbour wharf.

The works contributed to Viterra’s expansion of operations to increase their loading rate of barley and wheat onto container ships to 1000t/hour.

The scope of works delivered by York Civil included construction of the pile cap ring beams for eight 7500t silos, the pile cap ring beams for two 2500t silos, the rail and road in-loading facility, the elevator pit and various ground slabs and footings.
