Water

Water industry projects are a core compentency for York Civil and our capacity encompasses all aspects of project delivery, from pipelines, tanks, pump stations, dams, locks and weirs, blocking banks, wastewater, stormwater, remediation, rehabilitation, work over water and cofferdams.

York Civil has a long presence in South Australia's Riverland region, where we have untaken water projects on the majority of assets in the region almost continuously since 2000.

We have delivered water projects in residential and industrial environments requiring extensive environmental, community and stakeholder management strategies. Our water projects have been delivered using our own in-house people, plant and equipment, often mobilised in short turnarounds and in difficult to reach locations in order to deliver tight programs.

We are also highly experienced at working on or over water and well-versed in managing the stringent safety requirements of such work. We have also managed diving work crews on water projects and have extensive experience with piling on these projects.

We can mobilise workforces in remote locations where challenges such as living away from home accommodation, fly-in fly-out requirements, mobilising plant and equipment, and long-lead time and logistics for materials and specialised items must all be carefully planned and properly managed.
